A new and innovative feature available for the Audi S3 is the Audi Phone Box. By placing your mobile phone into a compartment within the centre console your mobile phone will connect wirelessly to the roof’s aerial, improving phone reception and removing the need for a phone cradle. A USB socket, located in the compartment, can be used for charging your phone.

The Audi S3’s optional Speed limit display uses camera-based detection to monitor the current speed limit for the road you’re driving on and display it in the Driver’s information system. Not only will it recognise traditional road signs but also temporary speed limit displays, such as on motorways. If there is no road sign the system will use the data stored within the satellite navigation, ensuring that the driver is always aware of the road conditions in front of them.
