Audi RS4 Avant
More than 20 years’ expertise
All Audi RS models have racing in their genes. Developed by quattro GmbH, they have been inspired, developed and built using technology developed on the racetrack.
quattro GmbH was established in 1983 as a fully owned subsidiary of AUDI AG. Equipped with its own development and production facilities, the company’s team of around 580 employees develops, designs and produces the fastest and most spectacular quattro-equipped cars available.
A ride to suit you
Not all driving situations are the same. The Audi drive select system on the Audi RS 4 changes handling and response at the touch of a button to suit how you want to drive. There are four modes: comfort, dynamic, auto and individual.
V8 FSI engine
At the heart of the Audi RS 4 sits the 4.2 litre V8 FSI engine delivering 450PS.
The combination of high-revving concept and FSI petrol direct injection technology gives the RS 4 the responsiveness required of a performance car.
Sensational surround sound from Bang & Olufsen
Some 14 speakers and two amplifiers create 505 watts of superb sound, balanced to suit the acoustic properties of the car’s interior.
A second digital signal-processing amplifier takes output from standard stereo sources such as CD players, iPods or DAB radios and creates stunning five-channel surround sound. The Bang & Olufsen sound system is optional on the RS 4.
Your wireless hotspot
The Audi RS 4 can be specified with MMI Navigation system plus and mobile phone preparation high (which includes Online Services). This enables data to be downloaded via a compatible mobile phone and provides current news topics and weather reports to be downloaded to the car, even when you’re on the move.
This service includes a high-speed, data module which provides three-dimensional satellite and aerial images, as well as photos and information from Google Earth to the navigation system.
This also allows a full-scale internet connection, making the RS 4 Avant a rolling Wi-Fi hotspot. Laptop users could even connect to the internet on the move and even stream their music to the car’s audio system via the wireless network.
