Sharing its DNA with the R8 V10 Spyder and R8 GT Coupe, the R8 GT Spyder is a lighter, higher performance version of this celebrated Audi Supercar.

The R8 GT Spyder will be limited to a production of just 333 units worldwide with only a limited number making their way to the UK. Each car will have its production number inscribed on the gear lever.

Inspired by the GT Coupe

Instantly recognisable, the Audi R8 GT Spyder features a host of aerodynamic and visual enhancements, including a fixed rear spoiler and flics on the front bumper trimmed in matt carbon fibre to enhance downforce and air flow.

Add to this a bespoke rear diffuser, larger round exhausts, wheels bespoke to the GT and matt carbon fibre rear air outlets and there is no mistaking the R8 GT Spyder and its performance credentials.

Strikingly different

If anticipation builds when you see the exterior of an R8 GT Spyder you will be sure of is intentions when you get inside. Bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara and GT design steering wheel, gear lever, inlays and white instrument dials confirm that this car is built with pure performance in mind.

Based on the already impressive R8 V10 Spyder Audi’s engineers have reduced its weight by 85kg and refined the powerful 5.2 FSI quattro to develop an additional 35PS.

The end result is a total of 560PS, a 0-62mph time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 197mph.

The large, lightweight carbon-fibre ceramic brake discs decelerate the car with supreme ease.
