Audi Approved Used Programme

At Harrogate Audi we put all of our used cars through the Audi Approved Used Car Programme. No matter what mileage, age or value of the car, not a single Audi makes it onto our forecourt without having first passed these stringent checks.

Multi-point check

Every used Audi that you see on our forecourt has been through our tough Multi-point check. This involves over 100 thorough mechanical, bodywork, interior and electrical inspections. The car is then taken on a full road-test and a detailed report written, which is available for you to view.

Any problems found with the Audi will be corrected before making into onto our Used Car display. This is known as Vehicle Reconditioning.

Vehicle provenance check

It is essential to us; every car we sell to our customers has a complete transparent history to avoid any unnecessary surprises in the future. This is why you will receive a certificate confirming:

• The vehicles engine and chassis number match DVLA records
• The date of first registration is correct
• The vehicle is free from outstanding service charges
• The vehicle has not been stolen
• The vehicle has not been written off
• Whether the vehicle has had a number plate change

Mileage check

An independent mileage check is carried out on all Approved Used Cars to verify the specified mileage.

Service history check

All of our Approved Used cars come with a service history certificate. The certificate details all routine service that has been done within the Authorised Audi Centre network. The certificate also verifies the following:

• Vehicle registration number
• Vehicle chassis number
• Vehicle description
• Colour
• Engine number
• The status of the vehicle’s warranty

12-month Audi Guarantee with Roadside Assistance

You’ll also get the backing of an Audi Guarantee, which includes Audi Roadside assistance to provide any necessary help at the roadside, with consequential expense cover for items such as car hire and hotel accommodation.

30-day exchange plan

All the checks above equate to one thing; peace of mind.

That’s underlined by our 30-day exchange policy – so in the unlikely event of an irreparable fault occurring within 30 days/1,000 miles (whichever comes first), we’ll offer you an exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.
