Wakefield Audi - Giving Back

Midnight Walk July 2011

The 5th annual midnight walk took place in Wakefield on the 16th July 2011 and was once again sponsored by Wakefield Audi.

Staff members got involved with  17 people helping to set up and support the smooth running of the event, whilst 12 members of staff actually took part in the charity walk to raise money for Wakefield Hospice.

Tanya Arnold, a local news sports presenter, joined the staff at Wakefield Audi as their star guest for the evening. Before joining in with the charity race, she kindly gave an opening speech and started the race off.

The total amount of money raised on the evening by Wakefield Audi is yet to be confirmed, we will however keep you updated.

Well done guys!

By running the Great North Run!!

6 Intrepid team members from the Wakefield Audi Centre took part in this years event on Sunday 19th September 2010. They all registered as non runners in January with much training required leading up to the run!! Amazingly all the team completed the course with Chris from Service coming in with a staggeringly impressive  time of 2 hours and 20 minutes. Hot on his heels was Richard in sales at 2 hours and 21 minutes and quickly followed by Steve (Sales Manager) and Craig (Aftersales Manager). Our 2 lady runners, Sally (accountant) and Holly (receptionist) came home in a very respectable 3 hours.

Duncan Anderson - Head of Business said "A great day was had by all apart from a few aches and pains!  I'm incredibly proud of my team and proud to support Wakefield Hospice. We've got even more numbers signed up again for the 31st Great North race next year for another fabulous day.

Wakefield Audi's most successful midnight walk.

A fantastic night, the local community came out in their droves along with staff from Wakefield to support this great cause in aid of breast cancer.
