Sytner helps Ben to go that extra mile...
The Sytner Group have donated the use of a fully equipped Audi A1, which will enable Chris Brown, BEN's Regional Development Manager to visit companies all over the Midlands eusuring staff know about the support BEN, the automotive industry's charity, can provide if they find themselves in need. This will help to increase awareness across the region and to raise vital funds that wil be used to support fellow automotive collegues who are facing hardship and distress. The car was handed over to BEN on Tuesday, 12th July 2011 by our Sytner Group Managing Director, Gerard Nieuwenhuys. Chris said "We are extremely grateful to the Sytner Group for their enthusiastic support of BEN. Sytner were 3rd for the second year in succession in the Sunday Times 'Top 25 Big Companies to Work For in 2011' so we knew they adopted a supportive culture for their own staff. Their generosity in providing the use of this vehicle demonstrates how committed they are to extending this ethos to support people from across the community. We look forward to continuing this partnership with Sytner Group for many years to come and I hope this will inspire others to make a difference". Gerard Niewenhuys said "We are delighted to support BEN. Sytner constantly strives to be the "Best Company to Work For" and ensuring the well-being of our employees is one of our core aims. Ben carries out a fantastic amount of work supporting not only Sytner staff but staff from across the motor industry as a whole and I am pleased that we are able to assist them in their valuable work". BEN is the automotive industry's only dedicated charity.
