The Princes Trust Summer Ball

Bentley Leicester Support The Prince’s Trust

The stunning showroom at Bentley Leicester was the chosen venue for the 2011 Prince’s Trust Summer Ball and raised a whopping £85,000 on the night.

Event production company Liz Hobbs Group transformed the showroom for one night only and 300 guests enjoyed a spectacular evenings entertainment by one of the UK’s funniest celebrity comedians Bobby Davro. Bobby’s singing and impressions left the audience in stitches particularly his take of Ozzie Osborne on The Weakest Link!

Bentley Leicester regulars Stones Events served a delicious 4 course meal before the entertainment started.

Both main and silent auctions were held during the evening with some incredible prizes very generously donated and auctioned with hilarious assistance by comedian Les Dennis.

Our trusted friends Lumbers the jewellers provided a stunning diamond set torque bangle with sparkling 13.70cts of brilliant cut diamonds all set in precious 18ct white gold – one lucky raffle winner walked away with a big smile on her face!

With a casino entertaining some at one end of the showroom, guests headed for the dance floor to dance the night away to party band Pastiche.

Bentley Leicester’s marketing manager Sally Brooks, who is also a member of the Prince’s Trust East Midlands Development Committee, was influential in organising the ball and explained that plans are in place for something similar later on in the year. Sally said: “We are delighted to support the Prince's Trust, the ball was a great success and tremendous fun and everyone was amazed at how much money was raised for such a great cause. The East Midlands Prince’s Trust organise a number of annual events to give young people a brighter future and as a local business, we are very happy to support the charity. I would like to thank all those who attended and gave so generously”
