EfficientDynamics more pleasure lower emissions
BMW is leading environmental innovation in the automotive industry with EfficientDynamics - a unique group of technologies that produce more powerful and dynamic cars with improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.
Efficient Dynamics has won BMW the 'What Car? Green Award 2007' while the government website 'ACT on CO2' ranks BMW top of the Compact Executive, Executive, Coupe and Luxury car segments with the 318d Saloon, 520d Saloon, 120d Coupe and 730d Saloon achieving the lowest C02 emissions in their class.
EfficientDynamics has also helped bring diesel-powered X5 models into a lower vehicle tax band so owners now pay £190 less per year. The X5 3.0d achieves CO2 emission figures of 214 g/km, reducing vehicle tax to £210. This also means that the X5 diesels will be one of only a few 4x4s to avoid the higher London Congestion Charge from October. Instead of paying £25 per day, the X5 3.0d owners will pay only £8 per day.
EfficientDynamics ensures that all new models give you the pleasure you expect from a BMW, with a clear conscience and less of the financial burden usually associated with owning a performance car.
