THE NEW BMW XM.

The new BMW XM, the first high-performance car from BMW M with an electrified drive system, brings together cutting-edge drive system technology with a spectacular vehicle concept. The high-performance Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) is powered by a newly developed plug-in hybrid system delivering 653hp and 800Nm of torque to sprint 0-62MPH in just 4.3 seconds*.

UNPARALLELED VEHICLE CONCEPT.

The M HYBRID system in the BMW XM consists of a new V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. Power is channelled to the road via the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. This combination produces immense power throughout the rev range, resulting in exhilarating performance, as well as a pure-electric driving range of 51 – 55 miles*.

Searing performance is complemented by a bold and visually striking exterior design, a luxurious interior that showcases the ‘M Lounge’ concept, plus the very latest technology and connectivity advancements from BMW.

Front design

Iconic front design. BMW 'Iconic Glow' illuminated kidney grille and thin daytime running lights typical of M. The distinctive grille with the BMW XM logo and exclusive Night gold accents exudes luxury and exclusivity. The powerful sculpted bonnet merges smoothly into two power domes.

Side view

The side view combines the strong character of the design in coupe style with powerful proportions and styling highlights such as the darkest windows of the entire BMW model range.

Rear design

The vertical, hexagonal M twin tailpipes give the rear with gold-coloured diffuser accents and the XM logo a unique presence. The two BMW logos lasered on either side of the rear window make reference to the last 'M only' model - the BMW M1. Together with the wheel arches, the surround rear lights emphasise the robust, broad stance.

Illuminated headliner

The indirectly illuminated headliner impresses with a three-dimensional prism structure. Distinctive Ambient light provides a splendid presentation of the various lighting designs such as the welcome scenario. The colour selection can be adapted to individual needs to match driving mode and atmosphere.

M Lounge

The M Lounge offers a unique sensation of spaciousness. The one-piece seating area and details such as the diamond-shaped structures in the headrests and stitching pattern convey comfort and luxury. Together with the sculptural, indirectly illuminated headliner, dark windows and comfort cushions, they create a novel feeling of space.

Exclusive Vintage leather

The leather with vintage character fascinates with its natural structure and texture setting elegant accents in the door trims and instrument panel. This material is being put to use for the very first time exclusively in the BMW XM and the special processing and refinement methods provide unique and individual styling in every vehicle.

M Hybrid

Switch between the purely electric drive and the hybrid mode at the touch of a button with the interaction between electric motor and powerful petrol engine. At the same time, intelligent driving modes and optimise the driving experience.

Purely electric

On request, the electric BMW eDrive system powers the BMW XM models purely electrically for example in urban areas. This means you travel almost silently and free of local emissions.

BMW XM LABEL RED.

More powerful, more exclusive, more extravagant: The BMW XM Label Red brings together an M HYBRID system with extra power and bespoke design accents that showcase its standout performance attributes to unmistakable effect. With a system output of 550 kW (748 hp), the BMW XM Label Red is the most powerful BMW M model ever made. The distinguishing features of the performance-maximising XM variant include an accent band in Toronto Red metallic, although a black accent band also can be specified.
