Known for the enlarged one-piece kidney grille, which has a hexagonal design, is paired with a sculptured bonnet, and gives the iconic front a new lease of life.

Standard inclusion of xLine design elements enhances the BMW X5's presence and visual robustness. A fresh interpretation of iconic BMW headlights and kidney grille shapes its front end, with arrow-shaped daytime driving lights that double as turn signal indicators on the new headlight units.
For the six-cylinder variants of the new BMW X5, the optional BMW kidney Iconic Glow introduces cascade lighting, adding a captivating and brand-typical visual appeal.
The updated design extends to newly designed air breathers in the front side panels, along with standard Exterior Line Satin Aluminium trim and Satin Aluminium roof rails. The rear lights and brake lights feature sculptural fiber-optic light guide elements with distinctive contouring. The horizontally reflected L shape, a signature of BMW models, creates a consistently illuminated X motif within the rear lights.
