The race started as usual behind the safety car, but unfortunately the grid did not line up properly, and led to Derek Johnston being black flagged for erratic driving behind the safety car, this left Paul Bailey to start the race in P1, a position he has not found himself before.
Paul soon came under extreme pressure from Gary Eastwood in his 430 followed closely by Craig Milner, Paul managed to lead from start to finish and ended up taking his first ever win, in his racing career.
