Guy Salmon Northampton Donate Trees To The Forest Of Marston Vale
Guy Salmon Jaguar Northampton In Partnership With The Forest Of Marston Vale - Protecting The Environment
The Forest of Marston Vale is one of twelve Community Forests in England; all identified by Government in 1991 as national priority areas for environmentally led regeneration. In the Forest of Marston Vale the challenge is to use trees and woodlands to transform 61 square miles between Bedford and Milton Keynes, repairing a landscape scarred by decades of clay extraction, brickmaking and landfill. Around one million trees have already been planted and by 2031 a further five million will be planted.
Guy Salmon Northampton will be helping The Forest Of Marston Vale towards their target, by donating a tree for every new and used Jaguar they deliver. These native broadleaf trees, will be planted by the The Forest Of Marston Vale on behalf of the dealership during the planting season, which is between November & February each year.
Since the partnership began in July 2008 we have donated £7,690 towards the scheme.

The trees planted with the money we have donated are planted in an area called Rectory Wood. The first of these trees were planted in November 2008 and below is a picture of their progress. Also below is picture of Stewartby Lake within the Forest which has been reclaimed for public use.
