In February of 1963, Jaguar started a special project to create 18 lightweight E-Type’s. Building upon the success of the iconic E-Type, the limited run ‘special GT E-type’ project never saw completion with only 12 vehicles being built. Now however; the new Jaguar Heritage department is to revive the project and faithfully produce the remaining six special E-Types.
