Guy Salmon Land Rover Stratford - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The New Discovery...
Stratford-upon-Avon’s renowned owner of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Pierre Picton, was recently visited by Guy Salmon Land Rover when the dealership dropped off his latest marvellous machine.
Mr Pierre had purchased an award winning Discovery 3 to use on tours across the UK in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Chitty Chitty Bang Band film. Commenting on the collection of his vehicle, Pierre said, ‘Unfortunately the Discovery 3 can’t float or fly like Chitty did in the film, but it’s towing abilities are not compromised. I’m certainly looking forward to our many travels with Chitty in tow.
