Staff from Guy Salmon Land Rover Bristol take to the skies in aid of charity 'Apprentices are MAD'….
Debby Thomas and Katie Haynes from Guy Salmon Bristol strapped themselves into a parachute and jumped 15,000ft out of a plane in a sponsored skydive to raise funds for 'Apprentices are MAD'.
'Apprentices are Mad' is a charity that supports disabled children with speech, learning, or physical disabilities. These include those with Aspergers, Downs, Autism and behavioural difficulties either through illness or poverty and depravation.
The daring duo took to the skies on 23rd September and began their descent. It was a clear sunny day and perfect for the jump. The pair had the chance to take in the scenery after the 40 seconds of freefall.
Debby said “It was an incredible experience and we raised over £700 between us which we are really pleased with. I really enjoyed the experience; it was a great adrenaline rush but I was pleased to get my feet firmly back on the ground”
