Guy Salmon Gatwick join the Dragon Boat Race!
The Dragon Boat Festival takes place at Tilgate Park Lake In aid of St Catherine's Hospice on Sunday 7th September 2008.
The festival takes places around Tilgate Park and includes dragon boat racing, traditional dragon dances, martial arts demonstrations, a children's fancy dress competition and an array of stalls and games. It’s a great day out for all the family.
Forty teams will race the traditional 40ft Hong Kong style dragon boats, battling it out to gain a place in the final and possibly win the trophy. Guy salmon Land Rover Gatwick are one of the forty businesses in the local community that have entered the race this year. We have a team of employees that will row up and down the Lake in a bid to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice and hopefully win the trophy too!
