Guy Salmon Land Rover Bristol help Santa kick of his festive tour of Bristol
The popular Round Table sleigh pull will be kicking off its festive tour around Bristol on Wednesday night with helpers, Guy Salmon Land Rover and family and friends of Great Western past and present.
Santa is very grateful to Guy Salmon Land Rover in Bristol for the use of a top of the range 4x4 to pull him around this year so that he can familiarise himself before Christmas Eve. BBC Radio Bristol and Sainsburys in Emersons Green will be working closely with Santa and Great Western Round Table so that everyone knows where he will be, so tune in for more details.
Every year the Round Table visit homes in Bristol along with Santa entertaining children of all ages with a colourful float and a friendly wave. As they transport Santa the Round Table and their elves will be seeking donations for their annual Christmas Collection which goes to support local charities in Bristol.
The event raises around £3,000 to £4,000 each year and all the money stays in the Bristol area.
It has been going for decades and has raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes.
