Guy Salmon Land Rover Gatwick Ladies Complete The Midnight Walk
Guy Salmon Gatwick ladies completed the 13 mile Midnight Walk on Saturday 21st June in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice. Over 800 ladies took part in the event based in and around Horsham, West Sussex raising in excess of £100,000 for the hospice based in Crawley. The 6 ladies from the dealership, Gina (Receptionist), Jo (Sales Administrator), Maryann (Marketing), Sarah (Marketing), Susan (Receptionist) and Vicky (Sales Administrator) were given moral support by 4 male colleagues Gareth (Service Advisor), Gary C (Sales Controller), Mark aka Lurch (Technician) and Tim (Service Manager) driving two Land Rover Discoverys as sweeper vehicles.
The ladies completed the walk in less than 5 hours and apart from a couple of blisters and achy limbs were delighted with their achievements. Alan Davis, Dealer Principal said “we are very proud of our ladies, their commitment to the event even during the rain was amazing, they have helped raise a lot of money to a very worthy cause and worked harder than normal on Monday morning, partly due to the fact that they couldn’t move from their desks!! We have booked them in for a weekly 13 mile walk!”
