Guy Salmon Portsmouth raise over £400 for Jeans for Genes
On Friday 3rd October Guy Salmon Portsmouth hung up their normal workwear and donned their jeans for a worthy cause!
To raise money we came up with a number of ideas including charging a fiver for wearing jeans. We also baked cakes and sold them, guessed the amount of sweets in the jar, guessed the weight of the cake and had 22 pictures of staff as babies so we could guess who was who!.
We also added 3 Manchester United v Portsmouth tickets that our Dealer Principal Gareth Cornell offered to sell with sealed bids. This package included Gareth driving, paying for beer and food and then driving back!
We raised a total of £428.92 for this worthy cause and a good day was had by all staff and customers.
