Guy Salmon Portsmouth will be swapping their everyday clothes for Jeans to GENErate lots of money on Jeans for genes day, Friday 3rd October!
Staff at Guy Salmon Portsmouth will be swapping their every day clothes for jeans on Friday 3rd October on Jeans for Genes Day 2008.
As well as donating £5, the staff will also be holding a Quiz and competitions to GENErate even more money for the charity.
Jeans for Genes aims to change the world for children living with genetic disorders. The money they raise each year funds care and support for children and their families, as well as research into the causes and cures of these conditions.
Genetic disorders affect 1 in 33 children born in the UK – the equivalent of around one in every class of school children. Many of these have no current treatment and more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK are linked to a genetic condition.
The theme for Jeans for Genes Day this year is ‘GENErations’ and the charity is celebrating the way genes can filter down through families, influencing a child’s appearance, personality, career choices and even sense of humour!
We, at Guy Salmon are hoping that by pulling together we can make this a huge success and raise money for a worthy cause
