Guy Salmon Portsmouth Raises funds for the Red Cross
The British Red Cross was the focus for Guy Salmon at a fundraising Pro-Am event held recently at Cams Hall Golf Course, Portsmouth.
Fred Nicholls, a driver for the company and two of our technicians, Stuart Jarvis and Ian Clist competed in the team event which comprised of teams including one professional and three amateurs. Guy Salmon’s team won 3rd place in the competition.
Overall the event was a great success with monies being raised through donations and collection tins at the event plus a collection from staff at the dealership in North Harbour.
In addition to this Guy Salmon agreed to pay £1 to the Red Cross for every “Nett Birdie” scored on the day. There were 180 and after the scores were totalled, Gareth Cornell, the Dealer Principal agreed to double this to £360.
A good day was had by all and The Red Cross received some great publicity.
