GUY SALMON LAND ROVER THAMES DITTON LADIES MAN UP FOR MOVEMBER
THE GUY SALMON THAMES DITTON LADIES MAN UP FOR MOVEMBER!
On Saturday 12th November staff from Guy Salmon Thames Ditton joined forces to raise funds for prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. Guy Salmon Thames Ditton are delighted to be involved and many of the male members at the dealership are raising money by harvesting fabulous moustaches of many colors, shapes and sizes.
The girls of Guy Salmon headed up by Land Rover Service advisor Kayleigh Harrop decided they too would like to do their bit for the worthy charity and organised a charity car wash at the service centre located on the Portsmouth Road in Surbition. The lovely ladies dressed topically as 118, 118 men complete with gorgeous tashes and fab wigs.
It was a wonderfully mild day and the general public were extremely generous with their donations. Other Guy Salmon staff baked delicious cakes and cookies for customers to enjoy while they waited for their cars to be expertly washed and polished.
The girls managed to raise a total of £427 in 4 hours, washing over 30 cars.
Well done girls – what a good day’s work!
