Guy Salmon Stockport and pleased to announce their support for local charity...

Guy Salmon Land Rover are supporting a worthwhile local charity, Independent Options.

Independent Options is a not-for-profit organisation based in Stockport, Cheshire. They provide a range of innovative options for child and family support, short breaks and long-term accommodation to promote inclusion for people of all ages who have a learning disability and/or mental health needs. 

Proud to be a small organisation, they strive to work with people on a personal basis and are committed to working in imaginative person-centred ways to the best of their ability with everyone they support. This includes working with people who have an Individual Budget, Direct Payments, indirect payments using an agent or a broker, a Circle of Friends or a Trust to organise their support, an Individual Support Fund managed by a provider agency, care management by statutory services or funding from Supporting People.

At Guy Salmon Stockport we are please to be able to support such a worthwhile charity and over the coming months we hope to be able to assist Independent Options by:

• Increasing awareness by providing literature and magazines about the charity in our waiting area
• Providing a driver for outward ventures
• Assisting with transport
• Providing free of charge servicing for the charity's own vehicle
• Personally getting invloved with any fund raising events
