The GSSC turned out in force with a great selection of vehicles to display alongside the hundreds of vintage Rolls Royces and Bentleys over the May bank holiday weekend. Winston, Chris and Daniel worked the Guy Salmon stand all weekend, to ensure that no question went unanswered, and there was a friendly face to welcome all into our marquee.
On the Friday afternoon our transported arrived to carry the four classics safely to Folkstone, a certain customer of ours didn't hesitate to offer us the use of three of his classics, which we have restored, repaired and maintained since his ownership.
The Modern F-Types were driven down to the racecourse, following the transporter, with the gratefully received assistance of Daniel Bobbett from the sales team, and we were all set up ready for the Saturday morning. The weather held for the entire weekend, and our stand was packed out with people eager to see both our modern and classic vehicles. Sun, Cars, a brass band, an RAF Hurricane and Spitfire flyover, Victoria sponge, delicious bacon rolls, cheese and ham toasties, a classic car auction, and various trade stalls, made the weekend thoroughly enjoyable for all involved.
Many thanks to 2intents for supplying the marquee for the four days, to ONTIME automotive for assisting with the transport of the classics.
'til next time,
