A Relentless Force
The Aventador LP 700-4 represents a whole new level of performance, sets new benchmarks in the super sports car segment, and provides a glimpse into the future. It's a car that's already achieved legendary status in the world of supercars.
Keeping with Lamborghini tradition, its flagship, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, proudly bears the name of a bull. In this case, an exceptionally brave animal that earned the 'Trofeo de la Pena La' Madronera' for outstanding courage during the fight.
For more than 40 years, the history of Lamborghini has also been the history of legendary V12 engines.
Handcrafted in Sant'Agata Bolognese, naturally balanced and installed in a central, longitudinal position, they relentlessly power the Lamborghini legend and represent the driving force behind our cars and our brand.
A key aspect of our design philosophy demands that every Lamborghini must be instantly recognizable as such.
The Aventador LP 700-4 with its uncompromisingly crisp contours is the essence of our brand, poured into an extreme, awe-inspiring look – eternally different, unmistakably Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 has sharply sculpted front end to the extremely low roofline and the dramatic rear diffuser. Details are aggressive and dynamic and proportions are impressive. The car measures 4.78m in length, 2.26m wide, yet is only 1.136m in height.
Door opens upwards from the carbon fibre monocoque – a head turning feature that first appeared on the Lamborghini Countach, and continues through the Diablo and Murcielago. The advanced feature of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is the electronically managed air intakes that respond to ambient temperature and the need for engine cooling; yet also ensure maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
Chassis and Powertrain
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 has a 12-cylinder engine in its center, just like its legendary predecessor. It was newly developed and weighs only 235 kg.
Thanks to 700 hp (515 kW), a displacement of 6,498 cm3 (396.5 cu.in.) and a maximum torque of 690 Nm (507 lbft) it is the strongest engine ever built by Lamborghini
The dashboard of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is pure high technology. As with a contemporary aircraft, the instruments are presented on a TFT-LCD screen, while a second screen is totally dedicated to the multimedia and navigation systems.
Highly innovative and hugely powerful, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is at the apex of super sports car performance, from its completely new technology package and carbon fibre monocoque, to the new 700hp 12-cylinder engine and ultra-quick shifting ISR transmission.

The car is built around a full monocoque, with the whole occupant cell made from a single physical component. This ensures extreme strength and rigidity, optimising occupant protection. It also delivers razor-sharp handling precision and responses.
Together with the front and rear aluminium frames, the monocoque achieves incredible torsional stiffness measured at 35,000Nm per degree, yet only weighs 229.5kg.
The specially developed lightweight V12 engine develops 700hp at 8,250rpm, and 509lbs/ft of torque at 5,500rpm. Importantly, the torque curve is flat, so huge flexible power is available across the rev range. To exploit this extraordinary engine, Lamborghini engineers have created the advanced Independent Shifting Rods (ISR) transmission. This is much lighter than a conventional dual clutch transmission and more compact than an ordinary manual unit, while delivering the fastest, smoothest changes possible.
