We are delighted to announce the details of the upcoming Leicester Business Festival event, Logistics in the East Midlands – Is the Triangle still Golden?, taking placeon Wednesday 28 October from 5.30pm at Bentley and Lamborghini Leicester.
The East Midlands is arguably the UK’s premier location for logistics and distribution operations, acting as a springboard into Europe: road, rail, sea, air operators are all here and highly accessible. The M42, M1 and M6 motorways form the logistics "Golden Triangle", from which 98% of the UK population can be accessed within four hours' drive.
At this panel discussion, we will hear the thoughts of leading individuals and businesses involved in the distribution and logistics sector, including developers, agents, operators/occupiers, representatives from East Midlands Airport and also from our Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Is the Golden Triangle still attractive as a location and does it still offer a competitive advantage for logistics operators and for end-users?
This is a key sector for our region and one that should be of interest, not only to those who operate in the logistics and distribution sector, but also to the wider business community with an interest in seeing economic growth, development and inward investment in the region.
There will be ample opportunity for networking both before and after the main event, with drinks and canapes also available in the luxurious surroundings of the Bentley Showroom.
