Two team members from Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry, Seannie Bromell (Sales Retention Executive) and Shannon O'Brien (Marketing Executive) slept outside in Birmingham City Centre on Friday 27th November in aid of youth homelessness.
The charity event is ran by St Basils, Birmingham. BIG SleepOut is a sponsored challenge to sleep 'rough' for one night in St Basils car park in Digbeth, Birmingham to remind ourselves of why it is important to have services which prevent young people becoming homeless. On average 5,000 young people per year that are at risk of homelessness seek St Basils assistance. St Basils is a local charity so every pound of local money stays here in the West Midlands to help local young people.
The team of family and friends have exceeded their fundraising target and have managed to achieve £885 to help youth homelessness in the West Midlands.
