Guy Salmon Bristol is proud to support the British Legion's Poppy Appeal for the third year running. This years Poppy Appeal launch was held at Bristol in honor of the 340,000 horses stabled at the depot before being sent to the front between 1914 and 1918.

The day kicked-off at 10:30 with a procession of Friesian horses to mark the role of the Shirehampton remount depot in Bristol that aided in World War One efforts, A service wagon, pulled by the horses, four enactment lancers on horseback and four mounted police in full ceremonial wear from Avon and Somerset Police accompanied by Guy Salmon Land Rover's at each end of the procession, leaving the MoD at Abbey Wood and stopping at Horfield Army Reservist Centre, Whiteladies Road Army Reservist Centre, Bristol Cathedral and completing the journey at HMS Flying Fox Dispersal.

So far Bristol have managed to raise an outstanding £60,414.79.
