Guy Salmon Jaguar Land Rover Stockport are proud to sponsor the Kenny and Marina Daglish Charity Foundation.

We were delighted and privileged to support the event which raised £250,000 to help support people living with cancer. The Marina Dalglish Appeal was set-up by the Dalglish family in 2005 'to do something to help' after Marina was successfully treated for Breast Cancer in 2003. The charity has one very simple aim 'to make a difference'.

John Bishop and Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent were among the stars who attended the event which raised over £250,000 for charity. Comedian John Bishop and Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent were among the stars that turned out for the Marina Dalglish Grand Ball. Marina Dalglish’s star-studded event, which was held at the Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, raised over £250,000 for people living with cancer and their families in Merseyside.

Kenny and Marina Dalglish welcomed Liverpool legends Alan Hansen and Gary Gillespie, along with John Bishop and his wife Melanie and Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent and Antony Cotton. Marina endured Breast Cancer back in 2003 and has since made it her mission to improve cancer care across Merseyside through The Marina Dalglish Appeal. Marina said: “Kenny and I are again overwhelmed by the generosity of guests who dug deep into their pockets on the night and also everyone who contributed to the raffle and auction”.

The celebrity-filled event took on a striking black and gold theme created by Taylor Lynn Corporation, with guests entertained by the well-known Swann band who flew in from Geneva especially for the event.
