Guy Salmon Land Rover Knutsford Volunteer for Christmas Event to Charity ‘CAFT’

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), launched their annual Children’s Christmas Party programme, and Guy Salmon Knutsford joined in on the festive fun! The Children's Adventure Farm Trust is based at the beautiful Booth Bank Farm and as part of the festive programme, Guy Salmon Knutsford supported one of the Christmas parties at the CAFT 17th Century farmhouse set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

CAFT provide a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.

The needs of the children visiting The Adventure Farm range from complex and severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses through to children who act as Carers for a family member, those dealing with bereavement and children who have been victims of abuse.

At this magical time of the year, Alistair Laing, Charity Relationship Manager at CAFT organised a fantastic event for the children, with each party consisting of endless fun, from a Christmas Disco, full home cooked Christmas Lunch, Giant Inflatable Bouncy castle, and meeting Santa in the Grotto to take away their very own bag of presents and goodies!

Four volunteers from Guy Salmon Knutsford dressed up in Mascots for the children to meet; The Mascots were a Reindeer, Polar Bear, Christmas Tree and Happy Feet the Penguin! The Mascots were fabulous and the children were delighted. There was also a Chaperone who was Jan Shenton (Receptionist) assisting CAFT run the event smoothly.

The party provided a special memory of Christmas that will remain with the children for the rest of their lives, and the staff at Guy Salmon Knutsford was fabulous making the children smile and sharing a magical time.
