In Aid of LOROS Leicester

The weather may not be as glorious as we would expect for this time of year, however the sun decided to make an appearance for Jim and Sue’s annual garden party in support of LOROS, on Sunday 1st July 2012!

Every year Jim and Sue Beadman  host a fabulous party in Rothley, Leicester, inviting old friends and new to join together for a worthy cause, whilst having a relaxed and fun-filled afternoon all in the aid of LOROS, a local charity in Leicester helping those affected by cancer. This year James Joyce and his band provided the musical entertainment for the wonderful day, presenting an afternoon of Irish and American music and songs that everyone could sing along to! The barbeque proved to be popular with all guests, with delicious varieties such lamb steaks and pork and apple burgers, as just some of many things guests could choose from.

Lexus Leicester are committed to helping their local community, and donated gifts from the Lexus Boutique Collection, as prizes for one of several raffles. Every penny is considered as highly valued, and has proven to be a great help to those whose lives have been devastated by cancer. Thanks to everyone’s generous donations, Jim and Sue managed to raise an outstanding £3800 this year, which will really help local people in their time of need.
