Two brothers from Rothley in Leicestershire were born on 10th Sept 2012 at just 28 weeks old. Unfortunately at just 1 years old, the lovely boys were diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy. The boys will both need to undertake surgery called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR). The average amount needed for one child to have SDR surgery in the UK, and with on going physiotherapy throughout their childhood, plus equipment is £50,000 – and this is needed for two.
The charity pool night managed to raise £3070 towards these life changing operations. Lexus Leicester also kindly donated a Lexus loan car to win for a weekend at the raffle.
There is still lots of money to raise therefore if you would like to donate or find out more please click here.
