Meet Bleu. His twin sadly died in the womb at 26 weeks resulting in Bleu being born with loss of twin cerebral palsy. He has been diagnosed as stage 4 on a 1-5 scale and doctor’s are unsure due to his young age to what extent the effects will have as he grows. Bleu has rigorous physiotherapy every week in the hope that he will learn to one day walk with a frame. In addition to this, Bleu requires a specialist yearly treatment available in Scotland at a personal cost of £5,300 per annum as this is not available on the NHS. Bleu is the nephew of Lexus Leicesters Jasmine (Aftersales Consultant) Jasmine recently held a charity fashion show evening to help raise funds for her brother to pay for this treatment.
Lexus Leicester kindly donated some fantastic raffle prizes including a weekend driving experience of the Lexus NX300h; Lexus Teddy Bear and Full vehicle valet. These prizes helped raise as part of the raffle alone £550 towards the current total raised of £14,000!
Kirsty (mother of Bleu) would like to pass on her sincere gratitude to Lexus Leicester for their support and will continue to keep them updated on Bleu’s progress.
