Maranello Sales supports Breast Cancer Campaign’s wear it pink day 2011
Sales, Aftersales and Classic Parts all participated in Breast Cancer Campaign’s wear it pink day on Friday, 28th October 2010 when members of the team wore an item of pink on the day and also enjoyed pink cakes baked by one of our staff.
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer and one woman in nine will be affected by it during her lifetime in the United Kingdom. The money raised, nearly £400 from wear it pink will help to continue the research to find a cure for breast cancer.
Howard Rose, Managing Director at Maranello commented “It was great fun and fantastic to see so many of the team here supporting this worthy cause. Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way and it is great to help even in this small way”
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and accounts for nearly one in three of all cancers in women. The charity currently funds 97 research projects, worth almost £16.7 million in 31 centres of excellence across the UK and Ireland.
