The Maserati Ghibli is a supreme example of Italian design, combining sleek, sporty contours with expert engineering prowess. It also offers levels of luxury for which Maserati is world renowned. The Ghilbi is a car that was born to inspire and exhilarate, with clean lines and sculpted forms that capture the eye and captivate the imagination. Its long bonnet implies a powerful engine beneath, whilst the front grille and classic Trident badge instantly announce it to be a Maserati.
The 2017 Maserati Ghibli takes a step towards satisfying individual tastes with the introduction of two new packages, Luxury and Sport, which enhance the standard features of every Maserati.
Under the bonnet lies a twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 350hp, with surging acceleration providing instant power and driving pleasure.
When sat in the driving seat of the Ghibli, you’ll feel in total control: the ergonomic three-spoke leather-clad steering-wheel with controls for interacting with the main multimedia functions frames a simple but striking instrument panel.
The large speedometer and rev-counter have elegant white backlighting and are separated by a 7” TFT display that shows the car’s dynamic data such as fuel consumption, range and tyre pressures.
In the centre, the 8.4" Maserati Touch Control Plus system offers comfort, audio and navigation controls, and is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Cruise control is standard on Ghibli, but Adaptive Cruise Control can be added as an optional extra.
For rear seat passengers, comfort is of the utmost importance. Ghibli can accomodate three passengers and features a storage compartment, two cupholders and a USB charger and 12V socket for gadgets. The rear seat can be folded down to improve boot capacity. Rear seat heating is an available option.
Safety is extremely important for a luxury saloon and the Maserati Ghibli was awarded with a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, giving you peace of mind. Ghibli offers next-generation safety features to protect the occupants. Seven airbags will shield occupants from impacts, and the front seats feature active headrests.
To prevent potential accidents, the Maserati Stability Programme is one of a number of driver aids and warnings. The MSP is an advanced electronic stability control system, reducing torque from the engine and activating the brakes if the vehicle rapidly changes direction, for example if a skid is detected.
The Ghibli is the only car in it's class that features a mechanical limited slip differential as standard, providing the driver with the best traction in all driving situations. Electrically operated front seats as standard make adjusting for the most comfortable driving position as easy as possible. The sophisticated eight-speed ZF automatic transmission in Ghibli is able to handle the power from the engine effortlessly.
