Mat Davis Heroes achieve a remarkable National 10k Wild Wolf Run Challenge

On Sunday 9th April, the team at Graypaul Birmingham took part in a National 10K Wolf Run Challenge for an amazing cause, in aid of the charity Mat Davis Foundation to raise awareness.

The team also set up a Just Giving Page, and a fantastic wave of donations were kindly given from clients, friends and family, the support page raised over £6000 and donations are still flooding in.

The Mat Davis Foundation is a small Foundation, based in Warwick and inspired by a truly remarkable young man – Mat Davis.

Mat was the most fun-loving and carefree human being you could ever meet. If anyone met Mat in passing no one would ever have guessed that from the age of 20 he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Mat never stopped living, laughing and loving! Mat underwent several operations, Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy and unfortunately lost his battle. One of Mat’s final wishes was to set up a Foundation in his name – to help others who find themselves in a similar situation and also to ensure that his legacy lived on.

Graypaul Birmingham live this on and made the gruelling mud run into a fantastic, fun challenge. The 10k off-road run features a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course.

The temperature was on the rise, but the mud was raw - the team really put in great effort together, everyone helped each other out to accomplish through to the final. There was a sense of camaraderie and support with each other – every person finished the run with a positive thought and have already planned the next challenge.
