Mercedes-Benz of Bath celebrates 125 years of automotive innovation by unveiling special edition range
A series of special edition models will provide Mercedes-Benz of Bath customers with plenty of reasons to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Carl Benz’s invention of the motor car.
Available to order now from the Peasedown St John retailer, Mercedes-Benz’s founding father and today’s car buyers will undoubtedly be impressed by ‘Edition 125’ versions of the C-Class, E-Class and SLK-Class models which are available with the latest multimedia systems as standard.
The C-Class Saloon, Estate and recently-launched Coupé, plus the new SLK Roadster, feature the sophisticated COMAND Online system with Media Interface that offers internet access as well as an enhanced navigation package. Its extensive list of functions includes Speed Limit Assist and a 3D display with the ability to show four alternative routes on the navigation map.
Previously only available as an option, the Navigation 50 system is available on all E-Class Saloon, Estate, Coupé and Cabriolet ‘Edition 125’ models.
Every car in the range boasts a 5.8-inch screen with full colour mapping as well as a single CD/DVD drive with MP3 compatibility and Bluetooth connectivity. The system incorporates a Media Interface which enables the connection and control of portable media devices via a port in the glovebox.
Completing the line-up of nine exclusive anniversary models is the Viano Avantgarde Edition 125 – the special edition adding sportiness to the MPV’s renowned spaciousness thanks to a dynamically-tuned sports suspension and a powerful V6, 3.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 224hp and an impressive 440Nm of torque.
