Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes - Comic Relief Brighton or Bust!

Over 60 members of the Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes retailer staff volunteered to make Comic Relief- Red Nose Day a huge success at their Greyfriars Court, Kingston, Milton Keynes showroom on Friday 18^th March 2011 attracting media coverage from MK News, Citizen MK, BBC 3 Counties Radio and BBC Look East TV broadcast.

The team borrowed two top of the range fitness bikes from Doubletree by Hilton at the Stadium MK to set up in the showroom and 20 people took part in the 200 mile challenge in relay to clock up the miles from Milton Keynes to Brighton, they actually completed 302 miles!. Picking up the comic sporting theme, the wonderful trio of Brighton Belles dressed in traditional bathing beauty clothes were the star attraction, alongside 118 athletes, comic golfers, mad Karate men.

A bouncy castle, Brighton rock and a huge selection of seaside gifts and comic relief cakes helped to swell the fundraising to over £600. The whole Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes retail team embraced the call to do ‘something funny for money’ on red nose day.
