Mercedes-Benz of Swindon partner Prospect Hospice for 2008 raffle
Prospect’s fundraising manager Rebecca Jordan said; “We are very excited to be able to offer one lucky winner the chance to win a brand new Mercedes-Benz, and hope that the appeal of the prize will ensure that people will support the raffle until the ticket is drawn on 19th December. We are also delighted that Mercedes-Benz of Swindon are showing their support for Prospect Hospice by backing this year’s car raffle.“
She added: “Of course, even if you don’t win a fantastic new car, there’s one group of people who will certainly benefit from your taking part, and that’s the patients we welcome to Prospect Hospice.”
Mike Sands, Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz of Swindon said;” The whole team at Swindon had input to choosing Prospect Hospice as their main charity to support for 2008. The Hospice and their excellent outreach work has touched the lives of many of our staff and customers and this is the best way we can help them to raise significant funds to support their work this year. We firmly believe that we have a corporate responsibility to work closely with our local community and make a difference where we can.”
Prospect Hospice provides compassionate care and expert help to those who are facing life with the diagnosis of a serious illness, and provide care for the whole family from diagnosis onwards. Our services, in the community, Day Hospice and in the In-patient Unit, are given entirely free of charge, in the belief that each person is special and every day counts.
