Mercedes-Benz of Weston-supe-Mare - Solid as a rock

Mercedes-Benz of Weston-super-Mare teamed up with local radio station Star FM this valentines to provide a customer with the best gift - a diamond ring worth over £1000.

The radio station worked in partnership with the Bridge Road dealership to promote a special 'Solid as a rock' competition where a huge block of sculpted ice was placed within the dealership showroom. Within the ice block was a diamond ring. Listeners to Star FM were invited to visit the dealership and guess how long it would take for the ice to melt and the ring to be released.

The entries came in thick and fast, with one lucky Mercedes-Benz customer, Mrs Barnfield guessing the correct time and winning the beautiful ring, supplied by The Goldmarket jewellers in Weston-super-Mare. Mrs Barnfield collected her new ring, and a new car in a handover at the dealership on the 1st March.
