On the road to success with Mercedes-Benz of Bath
Mercedes-Benz of Bath is getting in to gear for a great year by expanding its sales team to meet demand and maintain its position at the top of the manufacturer’s national customer service league.
Building on its success of 2009, three new faces have been added to a thriving sales operation, which is currently ranked number one in the UK in Mercedes-Benz’s customer satisfaction index (CSI) – the system by which the manufacturer measures customer service.
Mercedes-Benz of Bath has appointed 32-year-old local man Wesley Cole as Sales Manager, who has previously represented the brand in Wiltshire and most recently worked for another marque within the Sytner Group, which owns the Peasedown St John retailer. He has been joined by new Sales Executives, Richard Mainstone and Ian Pitt, who have served the likes of Renault, Peugeot and Honda during their x years of combined motor industry experience.
“Our aim is to ensure that each and every one of customers is completely satisfied about the way that they have been looked after and so we have put a structure in place that enables us to spend more time with them in order to enhance their retail experience,” explained Wesley.
“As a team, customer service is not just something that we talk about, it is something that we all believe in and this has been reflected in the results that we have achieved so far this year,” he continued. “Not only have we held the top slot in the CSI league for 6 months but we have retained a top five position since March, whilst our sales figures are ahead of where we were at this time last year.”
Working alongside Mercedes-Benz of Bath’s existing sales team members Business Manager Martin Wiltshire and Sales Executives Jari Heales, Zion Sowden and Mike Sutton, Wesley is delighted to be heading up such an experienced team and he is confident that they can continue their winning ways.
“The arrival of such acclaimed cars as the E-Class Cabriolet and the expansion of the BlueEFFICIENCY range of high economy, low emission models are generating significant interest,” added Wesley. “With a fantastic product line-up, magnificent premises at our disposal and an ongoing commitment to customer service, we have everything in place to make it a very successful year for the business.”
