Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester Hosts Cheltenham Fashion Week Giant Pink Shoe

The giant shoe located in the window of Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester is sure to turn a few heads

Visitors to Mercedes-Benz Cheltenham & Gloucester have been greeted by The Cheltenham Fashion Week Giant pink stiletto. The Giant Shoe will be located at Mercedes-Benz Cheltenham & Gloucester from 27 July until 15 August.

The shoe has already appeared at other high profile locations across Cheltenham emblazoned with the Cheltenham Fashion Week branding and sporting the eye catching Cheltenham Fashion Week fuchsia pink colour. Alongside Mercedes-Benz Cheltenham & Gloucester, Pittville Pump rooms, Eagle Tower and Waitrose have also hosted the Cheltenham Fashion Week Giant Shoe. Beside visits to luxurious locations across Cheltenham, The Giant Shoe has also been photographed with local celebrities including Loose Woman and The Bill star, Lisa Maxwell, and Embarrassing Bodies TV Doctor, Dr Dawn Harper.

The Giant Shoe sits right at home in the gleaming Mercedes-Benz showroom and has been attracting a great deal of attention. Media outlet Cotswold TV interviewed Cheltenham Fashion Week founder and Creative Director, Sam Bawden, and Mercedes-Benz General Sales Manager Paul Simpson.

As a headline sponsor of Cheltenham Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester has been pivotal in generating support for the newly established Cheltenham Fashion Week. Mercedes-Benz took on the enormous tasks of re-spraying and revamping the giant stiletto. Unlike other fashion events of its kind, Cheltenham fashion week seeks to celebrate the vast amounts of creativity that exist within The Cotswolds, involving everyone regardless of age, shape or size.

The Giant Shoe is 12ft. by 10 ft. so makes quite the impression wherever it goes. The heel of the shoe weighs the most and serves to anchor the rest of the stiletto down. With the sole area big enough to hold 4 or 5 people the Giant Shoe gives onlookers quite the impression.
