Mercedes-Benz of Swindon customer all set for Golf final

Mercedes-Benz of Swindon customer Damien McConnell is taking part in the MercedesTrophy world final in Germany this weekend after qualifying at St Andrews in 2014. The MercedesTrophy is the world’s largest amateur golf competition and the each country in the Mercedes-Benz international family will send a team of three players to compete in the World Final in Stuttgart, Germany. The Final is a very special event played over three days and includes a trip to the Mercedes-Benz factory and Museum plus an exclusive preview of some of the new models to be launched in 2016.

Daimien who plays at Cirencester Golf Club off a handicap of 24 says “I am really excited about the competition and very proud to be representing the Swindon dealership and the UK in this prestigious competition. I was presented with a TEAM Swindon golf bag and Titleist goodies which was really thoughtful and will do my best to beat US Open winner, Martin Kaymer on the par three “beat the pro” hole over the weekend !! This will be an exciting few days”
