Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle hits the catwalk again

For the fourth year running Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle teamed up with NE1 to be the main sponsor of a major fashion event in the North East.

Rebranded from ‘Newcastle Fashion Week’ to ‘Fashion Futures’, the weekend long event at The Baltic in Gateshead gave Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle the chance to showcase the stunning looking Mercedes AMG 63 Saloon.

Head of Business, Jeremy Simpson was thrilled to be associated with the event again:

Mercedes-Benz is associated with fashion world wide so it’s great to get involved from a local point of view. Our model range has grown over the last few years with the cars looking as desirable as ever. The event is a great stage to showcase the latest Mercedes-Benz cars.

The event took place over the weekend of 13th and 14th May and featured catwalks and displays from top designers as well as talks from key influencers within the fashion industry. Commenting on NE1’s fashion partnership with Mercedes Benz of Newcastle, Sandra Tang, Marketing and Events Manager at NE1 Ltd said:

Mercedes Benz of Newcastle has been one of the key sponsors of all NE1 Ltd’s fashion events for the past four years and we were delighted to have them on board again for this year’s new fashion format, NE1 Fashion Futures. The two-day event was a great success made up of fashion shows, talks and panel discussions with high-end fashion celebrities and designers including designer Henry Holland and editor of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman, which provided a great synergy with Mercedes-Benz

The event was a major success with both days being completely sold out.
