We are writing to pass on our thanks to your mechanics and the gentleman (Neil) who looked after us yesterday when we brought our smart car into your garage to have a handbrake looked at. As you can see from your records, we have had a couple of problems with the car since ownership in February 2007, but our experience at Northampton far exceeded our expectations and has restored our faith in the service received at Mercedes.

I am writing to you expressing my thanks for the excellent service I recently experienced from your service department.
My car, a Mercedes A Class 170, broke down whilst out driving with my daughter in Kettering. Knowing that my husband was out of town, I rang Neil Wilson (an employee of yours) to see if he could help us.
Neil answered our call and said he would be with us within 10 minutes. It was only when he arrived that we found out he was in fact at a family event in Corby, in which he had left with his partner to come and help us.
Neil checked the car over and sourced that it was un-driveable, he then attempted to call the breakdown service on our behalf however found out that the telephone number in the service book was incorrect. Neil managed to obtain the correct number and proceeded to make the arrangements for my car to be recovered.
With there being nothing more Neil could possibly do he kindly drove my daughter to her grandparents house whilst I waited for the recovery truck. After dropping my daughter off, Neil and his partner came back to where I was to see if I was ok.
On Monday 9th June, I received a phone call from Service Team Leader, Gee Loi who was very helpful and kept me informed on the progress and cost of the repairs. Mr Loi said on the phone that due to the low mileage of my car and it only just being out of warranty that he would speck to another gentleman at Mercedes to see whether a good will gesture could be suggested towards the cost of the repairs.
Both Neil and Gee kept me informed every step of the way and it was very much appreciated when Mercedes did not contribute to the cost of the repairs.
I feel that Neil Wilson and Gee Loi deserve recognition and praise for their dedication, not only to Mercedes but to your customers, of which I am one.
Once again, I thank you and your service staff for all the help I received in my hour of need.
