All MINI Approved Tyres are marked with a 'star' emblem on the sidewall of the tyre, this star lets you know that your MINI's replacement tyres are every bit as good as the originals.
Your local Sytner MINI Centre will be more than happy to carry out a tyre health check for you. They'll look for any bulges or cracks in your tyres and if they need replacing, they'll only fit the best tyres – MINI Approved Tyres.
We stock a wide range of MINI tyres with same-day access to further stock with 3 deliveries per day and all maintenance work is carried out by MINI Trained Technicians following strict MINI procedures and only using Genuine MINI Parts at all our Sytner MINI Centres.
From 1 November, 2012, all tyres sold in the EU must be labelled using a standardised system. The label informs customers of three properties:
Lower rolling resistance means better fuel efficiency. Tyres marked A for most efficient to G.
A better grip means a shorter braking distance. Labelled A for shortest to F for longest.
External Tyre Noise
External rolling noise marked as 1, 2 or 3 waves. From 2016, 3 waves will fail new EU rules.
*Actual fuel savings and road safety depend heavily on the behavior of the individual driver, and in particular the following: Economical driving can significantly reduce fuel consumption Tyre pressures should be regularly checked to optimise wet grip and fuel efficiency Speed limits should always be strictly respected.
When did you last check the Tyres on your car? Research shows that most tyres are either under inflated or worn below the legal limit of 1.6mm*. Ideally, you should check your Tyres every two weeks or before a long journey. If you would prefer, we can assist you with a tyre health check and advise the correct MINI approved Tyre for your vehicle should it need to be replaced. We can offer a comprehensive replacement package including the environmentally friendly disposal of the old Tyre, all at a very competitive price.
Seasons change. Driving pleasure remains the same.
When the temperature dips to 7°C and below, standard tyres harden and no longer provide optimum adhesion, compromising performance when accelerating, braking and cornering. Switching to BMW Winter Tyres for the colder months not only increases safety in risky conditions, but since they wear more slowly than standard Tyres in low temperatures they last longer and provide cost-effective winter motoring, as well as year-round driving.
