MINI Concept Aceman Makes UK Debut At Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2023

  • UK premiere of MINI Concept Aceman

  • MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition jointly makes first UK appearance and will be driven up Goodwood’s hill climb by Charlie Cooper

  • MINI Electric Convertible on display in Electric Avenue

The MINI Concept Aceman, which was unveiled globally last year, will have its UK premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023. Positioned prominently within the MINI exhibit, the Concept Aceman provides a sneak peek into a future model that fills the gap between the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman.

Highlighting MINI's forthcoming design language, characterised by a lack of chrome and leather, the concept embraces responsible material design by incorporating knitted recycled textiles into its surfaces. Seamlessly integrated with digital controls and a central circular OLED display, the vehicle offers an immersive digital experience while prioritising environmental sustainability.

Also making its UK debut is the MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition, following its podium finish at the Nürburgring 24-hour race in May. Throughout the festival, this six-speed manual transmission tribute, driven by Charlie Cooper, the grandson of the renowned John Cooper, will tackle Goodwood's challenging hill climb twice daily. The 1to6 Edition can also be found in the First Glance Paddock for festival attendees to admire.

For those interested in electric vehicles, the MINI Electric Convertible, the first of its kind, will be on display in the Electric Avenue section. With only 150 units available in the UK and a WLTP range of 125 miles, this trailblazing model represents a significant step in MINI's journey towards becoming an all-electric brand.

To enhance the visitor experience, the MINI exhibit will feature a large circular screen, inspired by the revolutionary circular OLED of the Concept Aceman. This interactive display, hosted by Spike, the brand's new virtual assistant, will offer exciting giveaways and engage attendees throughout the event.

Mark your calendars for the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from July 13th to July 16th, where you can witness these exciting MINI vehicles and experiences firsthand.
