On Tuesday 06th June Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex hosted the annual Porsche Golf Cup Great Britain qualifying round for customers and guests at Goodwood Golf Club. The Downland course at Goodwood was designed in 1914 by legendary golf architect, designer of Gleneagles and Carnoustie and five times winner of the Open Championship, James Braid, and consists of fast-running fairways, undulating greens and dramatic changes of elevation in the downland valleys and hills which are both a treat and a challenge to true golf fans.

The day brought together Porsche owners and enthusiasts for a fantastic round of top quality golf in a relaxed, friendly and picturesque environment and the ultimate opportunity to compete for a place in this year’s National Final at the luxury five star Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen. Set in 600 acres this multi-award-winning resort is the gateway to North West Ireland and showcases astonishing views of the Fermanagh Lakelands.

The award-winning Faldo Course will play host to the 2017 Porsche Golf National Final. Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, the six-time major championship winner, this course is characterised by link-style fairways, perfectly true greens and spectacular views of Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough.

Congratulations to our winner Adam Pearce and runner up Jonathan Britton on their sterling performance and for qualifying for the National Final. We wish you the best of luck and we trust you will have a fantastic time in Ireland.
