In 2013, every Sytner employee was awarded one paid day out of the business to focus on helping out in the local community or supporting a charitable initiative.
Our "Giving Back" scheme is our way of giving something back to the communities where our customers live and work.
So, this year, Huddersfield SEAT site, will be supporting Radio Aire's Mission Christmas Campaign, acting as adrop-off point for 'extra' gifts.
It’s hard to understand that thousands of local children between the ago of 0 -18 years, live in real deprivation and are at risk of waking up on Christmas morning to nothing. The aim of this campaign is to persuade both staff the community to purchase an 'extra' gift as part of their Christmas shopping. The gifts will go to children living in real poverty, enabling them to enjoy a real Christmas.
The gifts will then be sorted at the Radio Aire sorting office with the help of staff members from Sytner, who have been authorised to take time from work to devote to this cause. Additional fundraising events will also be continuing throughout the campaign on site.
Meanwhile, our Senior Managers from our VW, SEAT and TPS branches will also be donating their time and transport ensuring gifts are collected and distributed in time for delivery on Christmas Day.
With the help of our staff, customers and friends, we look forward to making this a Happy Christmas for many more children, this year.
