The Octavia Scout facelift revealed

Rugged, Robust and Reworked

The Octavia Scout is coming to the UK market, this comes after a busy few months for Octavia with the launch of the new infotainment and connectivity systems and the new vRS facelift. As standard the car comes with an electronically controlled hydraulic multi-plate clutch, all wheeled drive. With a choice of one of two diesel engines the 2.0 TDI 110 kW (150 PS) or 2.0 TDI 135 kW (184 PS) the Scout has a towing capacity of up to two tones depending on the engine. The Scout has a variety of interior features such as a heated steering wheel and heated seats.

The latest Octavia scout includes various features for off-road driving such as round clearance which is 30mm higher than the standard Octavia Estate. At the front and rear of the car, silver-coloured under-body protection is fitted. Standard to the car is the Rough-road package which features plastic covering for running gear, brake and fuel lines. The front and rear ramp angles have been increased to 16.6 and 14.5 degrees respectively. Electronic differential lock (EDL) is standard, improving traction on difficult surfaces by transmitting drive to both the front and rear axles. The Scout has an off-road function maintaining the vehicle’s speed automatically and modern engine management brakes the car during descents.
